This one means a lot to us. We're back on the same street in Azusa for the third time - and that kind of repeat neighborhood trust isn't something you can advertise your way into. It's earned job by job, house by house.

Here's what we were working with on this re-roof: an older deck that had clearly seen better days. The existing sheathing showed weathering and age throughout, with sections that needed replacement before anything new could go on top. That's the part a lot of homeowners don't see coming - what's underneath matters just as much as what goes on top.

We replaced the worn boards, got the deck solid and clean, and staged everything up top for the full installation. The product going on this one is Owens Corning Copper Trail - a sharp, warm-toned shingle that holds up well in the Southern California heat and looks great against the mountain backdrop this neighborhood has going for it.

We use Owens Corning because we trust the product. The shingles are designed to handle real weather, and the color options give homeowners something they're actually proud of. Copper Trail in particular has a rich, dimensional look that photographs well but honestly looks even better in person.

If your roof is getting up there in age - soft spots, missing granules, water stains inside - it's usually not a question of if it needs replacing, but when. Getting ahead of it is always the smarter move.
